Being an educator is both a privilege and a tremendous responsibility requiring strength of body, mind, and spirit. To that end, I carve out time to enjoy the outdoors on trails, rivers, lakes, and mountains throughout New York. I also find fulfillment and contentment in reading, knitting, listening to podcasts/books, and playing music. More than anything, I love a good laugh…an essential in teaching!
This is why I prioritize honoring the humanity inherent in teaching and learning.
